Our Projects

Building More than Just Walls

The old building was abandoned by a big NGO in 2014 as their project had come to an end. However, since then, there has been a sharp increase in the number of Children dropping out of school in the Kuchata Community due to the high rate of poverty, malnutrition, and lack of nearby schools. Now 7 out of 10 children either don’t attend school or drop out. Our organization came into the community, and the Community leadership offered us an old building that was abandoned almost 10 years ago to help us in implementing our project. We have started cleaning the building up to revive education in the village.
We now do a village cleanup drive with the children regularly, focusing on collecting discarded plastic bottles. This has helped in creating a cleaner environment around the community and also serves a dual purpose. The plastic bottles will be repurposed for a drip irrigation system, providing a sustainable water source for the newly planted tree seeds that will be planted around the school premises.
With your donations and community support, we are confident that we will make a positive impact and ensure that the children of Kuchata Village have access to education and a brighter future.

Imagine a world where no child goes to bed hungry, where every child has access to education and a brighter and clearer future. That’s the future we at THANZI265 are striving to create – a future where malnutrition and lack of education are no longer barriers to success. Join us in building this future and making a difference in the lives of children in Malawi.

We kindly invite you to contribute by donating through https://lnkd.in/dXWat_TC.. Alternatively, you may choose to empower a child’s future by sponsoring their educational needs through a scholarship.

Your generosity will help build a brighter tomorrow for these children.

Our Upcoming Projects

Promoting Excessive Breastfeeding

At Thanzi265, we are deeply committed to promoting the benefits of breastfeeding. We believe that breastfeeding is a crucial aspect of early childhood development and maternal health.

Sustainable Agriculture

We educate and train local farmers on sustainable farming practices. This includes techniques for soil conservation, water management, and organic farming. We also encourage farmers to adopt ecosystem-friendly farming practices. This involves the use of organic manure, conservation of vegetation, mulching, crop rotation, intercropping with legumes, efficient drainage systems, and soil bunding.

Food Literacy

Food literacy extends beyond personal health to include sustainable food practices. It promotes understanding of how our food choices impact the environment and encourages sustainable practices like reducing food waste, composting, and supporting local food systems

Each bite of food we take tells a story...

Food is our sustenance, a unifying force that ties us to our heritage and is deeply intertwined with the natural world. We bear the duty to safeguard and transmit the knowledge of food, ensuring the survival of our planet for future generations.
